Cooking in Washington DC

I don't know what it's like around your house when the grandkids come and the kids and their friends, but at our house (and theirs) cooking is what we do.

Nonie's kitchen very small. One of those gallery kitchens. But the counter space is long and deep.

She lives in a three story duplex. Kitchen, living room and that's it on the main floor. Stairs go up to the bedrooms and bath. Stairs go down to the TV room with a bath and room for the washer and dryer.

Footage? I don't know. But it is well thought out.

Now for the menu that night. Leg of Lamb, from the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution cookbook, asparagus, Yorkshire pudding--which is not sweet but bread, no desert. We don't need it. The rest was too good.

This is a wonderful way to roast meat.. Sitting on a bed of chopped celery, onion, and carrot. Works for Chicken as well. TASTY!!

What can you say about Yorkshire Pudding except scrumptious. They are so hard to make them come out like this but our Lynn knows how to do it.
I have other pictures too. But they need to rotate and I tried. I really did try to rotate them. But when they got on the page they weren't. So Those pics come later.

And that means----

More later, Linda
