There was a murder in Duncan last week. Three men shot in the back and killed an innocent man. They didn't know him. They had not had any contact with him. They just shot him.
Parents are outraged, threats were sent to the high school and the middle school. Why? The people who did the shooting acknowledged their involvement with the murder. They told the police how they had picked this runner out and decided to play God and to end Christopher's life.
We could argue til the cows come home who is to blame. But one thing is obvious to me, these three men don't care.
They don't care about the man they killed.
They don't care about the family.
They don't care about the girlfriend, or the team mates, or the people in the home close to where they shot Christopher.
They don't even care about their own parents, or siblings, or friends, or
They don't even care about themselves.

I loved this blog, you hit the nail on the head. They don't care. Kids today aren't taught respect.
