It's Halloween---a little late.

We were watching something that had lots of screaming and gun shots and thunks, and crashing around, and shattering, and --- well, you know what I mean.

REALLY scary!!

I looked over to the chair where Sarah was and this is what I saw.

MOM help me!! There is too much noise coming from the ----over there!!!

I just won't watch. That's the best thing to do.

Another scream from the TV. So I looked again

I think I'll just hide my head in the covers.

Yeah!! That's the best thing to do.

I will soooo glad when this is OVER.

So we turned off that and got us a NCIS---not much gore there.

D and M Insurance

For all of you out there who have Furry People.

Sleeping in your beds.

Begging for a bit of steak and mushroom from your hand.

Looking at you with those puppy dog eyes while you decide to NOT give them their bath -- yet again.

While they plead and ask you -- with those puppy dog eyes-- to not take them to get their shots EVERY year.
While it is still the middle of winter and they are getting sick right along with us. Colds. strep throat, even thyroid problems and diabetes anything! Take them to the doctor.
If they are running temperature! Or snorting and snotting along with the kids!
Or if they have eaten most of your toasted ham and cheese sandwich and now have the belly ache!
 Please Sir, just another morsel????
To all of you I propose to tell you about a wonderful new idea I had this morning!!!

D and M insurance for your Furry People.

First one to figure it out gets a prize!!!

Daddy loves me and that makes it right!!

Some days it doesn't  pay to get out of bed.
Here I am trying to get some attention from my mother. Well, she was too busy. Working on her computer. Well, maybe not that busy coz she gave me a little pat a while ago.

And some days I could just pull my hair out. Mother is on the computer, daddy is on a mission to wash all the windows. I mean, HE even took them APART. Like into about 10 pieces. And then he WASHED them with soapy water.

Look----LOOK---at me. I am a MESS. From one end to the other. This must be what all those kids at high school feel like.  YUCK---OOO

I'm not, NOT going to look at that camera again. She just wants me too so she can show all her friends how cute I am.

It's nap time---and I MEAN it----this time.

This calls for a drink----of water.

Water? AGAIN?

Nap?  Maybe. Or not.

Yes---nap.  No----drink.

NAP. This is too comfy. See you two tomorrow.

There goes that blasted camera again. I think I better just get used to it.

Daddy knows what to do. !!!

Mornin!!!

This is what morning is around our house.

I got up this morning at 5.

Jerry did too!!

That is NOT what he usually does. Lately he's been sleeping in.

Oh, about 6.30.

Yeah, that's late morning for him. Of course with it being DST, until Sunday, it's still dark outside.

So, Jerry and Sarah decided to take a little snooze.
Actually they slept longer than 9 minutes.

More like 1 1/2 hours. But it was good for both of them.

At least they didn't wake up cranky!!

Have you ever heard or gotten the cranky looks from a 14 pound Yorkie.

Well, honey YOU DON'T WANT that to happen.

EVER!!!!

Baby Pics!!

This is our yard.  We have some pecan trees in the front and some Iris next to the road and HAIL!! Two times that winter we had some, LOTS of snow and ICE!!

Jerry even fell as he was walking back to the house. He hit his head hard and didn't tell me for a month!!

Boy, did I ever----scream, scold, SCREAM and SCOLD.

We do an mri and it didn't show anything---no, not that, it didn't show any damage.

And of course, Sarah had to have her day about the hail.

Looks really impressed, doesn't she!!!

 NOT!!!

I'm NOT sharing!!!

Our friend Alice went to visit with her grandson while he was in the hospital and couldn't take her furry person with her. Here is Harley. She is so cute. Now, mind you, she is a few years older. But she is still cute. But Sarah had never been around others since she had left the litter. She used to play with her litter mates, but since she came to be with us she had not had to share anything.

Harley did NOT go over very well.

In fact not at all.

Does this give you an idea of Sarah's acceptance of another in her house.

I think that furry people are just like us. They have their likes and dislikes, they will accept or reject whoever.

And REJECTION is written all over Sarah.

SHE is NOT gonna eat my food.  Or drink my water!!

No way!

Never!!

NADA!!

What did I do??? I just want someone to play with me because my mama just left me here and I don't know when she's gonna come back.

Well, I guess she can sleep in her bed----coz she's not gonna sleep in mine.  NEVERY EVERY!!!!

Enough said.

Sarah got her way

AGAIN!!

Jerry was PO'D

As you already know, Sarah sleeps with us.

Mandy slept with us and so did Georgie.

They found their place and they didn't move.

And if you tried to move Mandy, she would growl. Not that short little growl. A long drawn out growl.  Way deep in her throat. Just a warning, but we didn't want to test it. So we did NOT move her.

AT ALL!!!!

Georgie was really flexible about being moved. I could even put her in her bed during the night if I had to. Of course her bed was on top of the night stand. She would sleep in it during the summer months. It got too cold in NM in the winter for her to sleep there.

And then there came SARAH!!

She will sleep on her side in a ball, she sleeps on her side stretched out, she sleeps on her back, she sleeps on her other side.

And ALL that happens in about 20 minutes.

You can imagine what happens in 8 hours!!!!

Do you see any in those eyes???

NEITHER do I.

I just see someone who KNOWS she belongs.

And this is how Jerry woke this morning.

As you can see,  Sarah has the prime spot.

Right in the MIDDLE of his side of the bed!!!

And the pretty pink blanket.  All cozy fleece.

Our Nonie made it for me last year for Christmas. Those are the PINK bows to remind us about the desperate need for a cure to Breast Cancer.

Now Sarah is PO'D.!!!! Because I woke her up!!!

What am I gonna do-----they're both PO'D now!!!
